Roofing Northwest Florida for Over a Decade.

All free quotes are not the same. When you get a quote from Campbell Roofing Contractors, you'll get it from a local, licensed and insured roofing contractor, not a salesman.

We recognize your house is a valuable commodity and choosing the right roofing company is an important decision. This is why for the last decade Campbell Roofing Contractors has demonstrably been able to out-shine our competitors in excellence, efficiency and the work we perform on your home.

Campbell Roofing Contractors work with all insurance companies, on your behalf, to ensure that your home is fully restored and covered by the insurance company for all of the damages that you are entitled to receive...

Storm Repair Experts ...

After a hurricane or damaging storm, you want to quickly get your life restored to normal as soon as possible. The tendency is to get a roofing company hired as soon as possible because roofing contractors may be in limited supply due to the high demand for their services.

However, that doesn't mean you should choose the first contractor who knocks on your door. Knowing what you should look for in a roofing contractor will make a big difference in how smoothly your roofing project goes.

Three Reasons to Get a Professional Inspection

1. Your safety matters. Seeing some damage requires getting on the roof, and most homeowners should leave climbing ladders and steep-slope roofs to an experienced pro.

2.  It takes a trained eye. Significant storm damage might not look like much at all to the untrained eye, but an experienced GAF Certified Contractor, like Campbell Roofing Contractors, knows how to read the tell-tale signs of damage. Insurance adjusters are not paid, nor is it in their best interest, to find hidden damage.

3. We can better explain the damage to your insurance adjuster. Someone is going to have to show this damage to your insurance adjuster. Campbell Roofing Contractors are trained to recognize damage and “speak the same language” as your adjuster, so we can communicate clearly and help ensure that your loss is covered correctly.

What to Look for in a Roofing Contractor.

Warranty

In addition to the manufacturer's warranty, does the contractor offer an additional warranty coverage? If so, how long will it last?

Certified

Are they industry certified? Contractors who pass certain minimum requirements to be factory certified are more likely to be legitimate.

BBB Rating

An A+ rating is suggested, at the minimum, to ensure they have a satisfactory rating with the BBB with no outstanding complaints.

Licensed

Ask to see a copy of their license and insurance certificate. Make sure they are current and they are applicable to your location.

References

Ask for a list of references you can call and check online reviews. If they do not have LOCAL references, do your homework.

Local Office

It's good to know that you can pick up the phone and speak with someone to help with emergency fixes.

Things To Look At When Choosing A Roofing Company

There are a lot of roofing companies to choose from, and most people we speak with have trouble finding the right roofing company. So, we decided to put this quick guide together to help you in selecting the best roofing company for your specific needs.

Read More | Roofing Company Tips

The roofing company that you ultimately hire should be able to demonstrate their academic and professional skills, along with a proper license for their roofing company name and your specific location. You should ask if the employees have factory or industry training for the job you are hiring them for, e.g. metal roof, tile roofs. A legitimate roofing company will not balk at providing proof of insurance, proof of license and proof of any other certifications they may possess. If the roofer you are speaking with is evasive, hesitates or tells you they do not have these documents with them, do not hire them. Period.

Insurance for a roofing company is a biggie. Accidents happen, even with the most experienced roofing companies. Those accidents could cost you big-time if the roofer you hired is uninsured, or under insured. For instance, If a worker gets hurt, if your house is roofed incorrectly, if they accidentally damage a neighbor’s property or your property like a vehicle. These are all instances that could land you in court; having to pay for an attorney as well as damages. So I would say that verifying the insurance of a roofing company is one of your primary goals.

The next thing you want to consider is the overall cost of hiring the roofing company. If their quote is too high, or if their quote is too low, there may be a problem with this quote from this specific roofing company. If the quote is too low; did they leave something out? If it is too high, did they find something the other roofing company may have missed? All of your quotes should be within a few hundred dollars, at least under a thousand.

If not, you need to speak with each roofing company again and find the discrepancy. This could be a good thing, as one roofing company may have found a problem that the other’s missed. Or, it could be that they are padding the bill, which could leave you holding the bill if the insurance company only pays a portion of their estimate.

The reputation of the roofing contractor is another critical thing to look at. If you want to know if the roofing services of the prospective contractor are widely accepted as satisfactory you will need to take your time to read all of the reviews and testimonials from prior customers who have worked with this roofing company in the past. Their website, Google and Yelp are great places to start to see past reviews of their roofing services. Caution though, not all roofing contractors are web geniuses.

Meaning, they could be excellent roofer and just not be set up online to capture reviews from their past customers (this is actually quite common). If this is the case, and all of your other check points look good, ask the roofing company for some references. If they are unable, or unwilling to give these to you, we suggest that you walk away.
